Reviews and Ratings
The hotel's location was perfect for our needs near the Channel tunnel, but some aspects like room cleanliness and noise were disappointing. The service was mixed, with courteous staff but issues with hot water and extra pillows. The dining experience was average, and the facilities needed improvement.
The hotel was cozy and clean, offering a relaxing stay overall. The rooms, although situated above the kitchen, were clean and comfortable with nice amenities like tea, coffee, and a big TV. However, they showed signs of wear and tear and could use a renovation, especially due to the air conditioning unit outside the window. The service was friendly but had some issues with late disruptions and card payments. The location, despite undergoing improvements, was convenient for our plans and central to town activities. The dining experience was satisfactory, with a decent breakfast selection. Overall, the hotel provided a decent value for money considering the offered services.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. While the room was spacious, it needed some serious maintenance as it smelled bad and had peeling paint, making it a tired space. The location was convenient for exploring the local area, including the Tunnel, Port, and sea, which was a definite plus. However, being above a pub with loud music until midnight and chatter until 5 am made it impossible to get any sleep at all.
